Our business is understanding your needs and the problems you require solving, then providing comprehensive solutions.
Holistic Financial Planning
Working with you, focusing on your "big picture"→ rather than just on individual parts in isolation. This is much more efficient and, with the aid of sophisticated cash flow modelling, provides you with greater clarity and understanding of whether or not you are on track to meet your stated objectives and if not, what action is required to facilitate you achieving them. You are thus able to make fully informed decisions.
Investment Advice

Wealth Management

Specialist Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Services
As some 40% of our financial planning client base constitutes senior medical professionals from both the public and private sectors, we are very well placed to advise on all financial aspects of this client group. Please see Medical Services, Dental Services, and Veterinary Services for more details.
Trustee Investments
The provision of a robust investment process and associated advice, to meet the often conflicting needs of a trust and help to ensure the Trustees are meeting their obligations under the Trustee Act 2000.
Retirement Planning
The provision of a clear and comprehensive strategy, to help you achieve your Financial Independence at the age you desire, through the most efficient management and use of the assets you have available to you.
Comprehensive Risk Analysis
We use Psychometric testing and cross ‘Stress Testing’ to establish your true tolerance to ‘capital risk’. We then take this result and through discussion, balance this aspect of risk with the seven other aspects of risk you face with your money;
- Market Timing Risk
- Stock Selection Risk
- Inflation Risk
- Interest Rate Risk
- Liquidity Risk
- Exchange Rate Risk
- Unnecessary Taxation Risk
We then balance the risk you feel you are ‘willing’ to take against the degree of risk you actually ‘need’ to take to meet your objectives. This may result in you needing to taking more or less risk than you are ideally willing to take or, amending your objectives.
Mortgage Advice
The provision of whole of market mortgage advice for both residential and buy-to-let properties. This can be looked at on a ‘task specific’ basis or, ideally, we would view your mortgage requirements in context with your Holistic Planning needs, as this may change the approach to both funding and how the properties are held.
Family Protection
- Life Cover in the event of Death or Critical Illness – The provision of appropriate protection held via the correct use of trusts, to ensure everything you have worked hard to build for your family is not lost should you die or contract a critical illness.
- Income Protection – The protection of your family, your home, your business and your lifestyle, through the provision of an alternative tax-free income in the event of your being unable to work through ill health.
Business Protection
- Providing you with a Risk Audit of your business – This enables you to decide objectively, which risks are acceptable to you and which you need to eliminate or mitigate.
- A Company Will – Set up a process which ensures the control and ownership of the shares of a shareholder or partner who has either died or is too ill to continue in their role, reverts to the remaining shareholders. In doing so, avoiding leaving them financially exposed, mitigating Inheritance Tax, whilst ensuring the departing shareholder’s interests are also met in full.
- Cash flow on the loss of a Key Person – If your business loses an individual who is key to the business’s future through ill health or death, you can put in place guaranteed capital or cash flow to help protect the business until a replacement is found and up to speed.

Business Exit Strategies
- Establishing the lifetime cost of providing the lifestyle you require for your financial independence. From this we then establish what sale price you need for your business to meet that requirement.
- Working with you and your accountant to balance and meet your interim requirement for tax efficient income against the desire to maximise the future sale value of the business.
- Succession Planning- How to meet the objectives above, when the future owners are to be from within your family or from within the management team.
Tax Planning
The provision and sourcing of simple and comprehensive Tax Mitigation and Tax Avoidance tools, which are well established. These cover all of the following aspects;

- Capital Gains Tax (CGT)
- Income Tax (IT)
- Corporation Tax
- National Insurance (NI)
Where appropriate, this may be done as part of a multi-disciplinary approach with your accountant and/ or solicitor.
Estate Planning
Estate Planning should take precedence over Inheritance Tax mitigation. Our primary purpose in Estate Planning is the provision of a comprehensive strategy, utilising tools which will fulfil the following;
- Ensuring your estate meets your requirements during your lifetime.
- The passing of your estate to your chosen beneficiaries in a cost and tax effective manner, whilst retaining the degree of control you feel is desire-able or necessary.
- Protecting your legacy to the potential beneficiaries from adverse financial circumstances they may face in the future, such as divorce, bankruptcy and incapacity.
- Not to compound any IHT problems any potential beneficiaries may already have with their own estate.
- To do all of the above in a manner which efficiently addresses Inheritance Tax (IHT) issues.
